Jarrettsville Elementary is all about being a good neighbor!
Recently, fifth grade teacher Traci Frey—2023 HCPS Teacher of the Year finalist and PACE Liaison—and Principal Christian Slattery—2011 HCPS Teacher of the Year and 2025 Principal of the Year finalist—hosted a Good Neighbor meeting to bring together local businesses and school partners.
Together, they shared good news, looked at results from a recent parent survey, and talked through ways to support one another and the school’s goals.
A HUGE HCPS thank you to the local organizations who joined us: Jarrettsville Lions Club, Dunkin’ Donuts, HCPL Jarrettsville Branch, JVES PTA, Greenspring Nursery, Celebree School of Forest Hill, Jarrettsville Creamery, Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company, and Drumgoole Financial Services.
